My interest in the Civil War began in 1968, while growing up on the actual battlefield of ”the Battle of The Weldon Railroad” in Petersburg, Virginia. I began collecting Civil War artifacts at a very young age. I spent most of my childhood searching daily for artifacts and enjoyed every word spoken by my father regarding that great conflict. My father’s stories of his childhood finds truly inspired my passion for collecting. In the 1970’s, I began hunting the Confederate lines surrounding Petersburg and in the early 1980’s, I began researching Wade Hampton’s Cavalry positions. This wonderful hobby, which my wife and I enjoy, inspired us to begin this Business and Museum, CS Acquisitions Museum. We are always interested in purchasing additional artifacts and offer free appraisals. We hope you enjoy the online Museum and Investing in the Antiques offered for sale.

THANK YOU For visiting CS Acquisitions Museum! Best Wishes, Wallace and Brenda Markert.
