Adams Patent 44 Caliber Revolver
This revolver is a rare variation of the Adams patent revolver manufactured in England during the Civil War. With the scarcity of surviving specimens, it appears very few came thru the blockade. This revolver is void of company name or serial number, retaining only three British proof marks, two on frame and one on itís cylinder. This Adams retains most of the original bluing and is in exceptional condition, with bore and cylinder bright and rifling sharp. There is no pitting or rust, with bluing deep and lustrous. Action is smooth and grips are finely checkered with no cracks or imperfections. A very Rare Confederate Blockade Revolver.† CS Acquisitions Museum†
